No masking, the logos are embossed so it was a happy accident.

Nice! I've considered painting some but haven't gotten past the thinking about it phase lol

I might paint my 8 string Blackouts before trying it on my EMGs. I don't mind if the SD logo gets covered, but I was also thinking about pad printing the EMG logo if needed. I wouldn't be able to get the same foil look but could do almost any other color.
