I've never been the biggest EMG fan, but when I played this guitar I had to have it. Probably going to switch out the EMG's anyways for some blackouts.

Anyways enough typing.. pics!

Overall I was impressed with, oddly enough, the neck. It didn't feel like the normal baseball bat necks generally associated with Schecters.
So, the guitar feels great and sounds phenomenal right off. I can only imagine how good it's going to be with a set of Blackouts in it.

congrats, I just got my 8 string version a while back and love it! I have actually taken a liking to the pups over time maybe I've just gotten used to their tone.
Enjoy your new baby, shes a beauty!

nice to see some Schecter love around here :) how do the EMG's work out?

and a small advice: get a strap lock, because Schecters are really fond of popping out of your strap. happened with me 2 times, and was lucky enough to catch the axe in mid-air..

seconded, strap locks of any kind are always a good idea. I'm partial to schaller strap locks as I'm not a fan of the plastic kind dimarzio makes (and the difference between their prices in my neck of the woods doesn't make it worth saving just a few bucks to get the dimarzio style ones)

and if you're going to swap out the emg's for blackouts then that job could hardly be simpler, which is a great thing about the guitar coming with emg's from the factory(if you're doing the emg to blackout conversion)

Do you know what the fretboard radius is? Nice finish too.

Congrats on the NGD by the way, people who say Schecters have baseball bat necks are dumb and have cute little pixie hands

Looks beautiful!

I'm definitely putting straplocks on it. The EMGs are ok for now but will definitely get replaced with blackouts when possible.
