Got this thing after a very short wait (NH->MA shipping times are apparently super fast). The thing plays effortlessly, and once I put some D'darrio 10s on it, the sound is great! I'm not a fan of active pickups but the Duncan Blackouts are a pretty good middleground between the hyper-compressed active sound and the subtle responses of passives. I wouldn't say I love actives now, but they certainly aren't bad! :shred:

Anyways here's the porn...I mean pictures.

Here's a comparison of the 28.5" neck on the Agile vs whatever is on my Les Paul classic - the Les Paul feels like a friggin toy after playing this.

There's a butterfly shape in the wood right under the pickups - this is why I love curly maple, you never know what amazing finish you'll find next.

Your LP is probably 24,75" scale for the record.

Nice grab, me gusta some baritone scaled instrument. HNGD mate.

Congrats!

I also like the Swamp Thing face under the bridge!
Didn't see that that did you?

So you can only get this scale in purple?
Or go for a 30" scale?

The 28.6" inch only came in purple, but to be honest I didn't care too much about the neck size, I got it more for the finish

Very nice looking quilt. Purple looks really good with that kind of quilt.

beautiful guitar! i love how tiny the les paul seems to be next to the agile :hbang:

it's a damn shame that they are so hard to come by here in europe unless you are willing to accept the risk to buy a guitar and not be able to return it in case something is wrong :noway:

Something about a 28.625 inch neck just makes me happy. Pretty much all the same specs as the guitar I have now except a hipshot instead of a TOM and 28.625 vs 26.5

The 28.6" scale is so strange to get used to from playing Les Pauls and PRS. It's like im playing a tiny bass (or a giant guitar). I'd been contemplating returning the guitar because I wasn't sure if I could/wanted to adjust to such a large neck, mostly because I completely failed to see the benefits of a longer neck. Then I started playing some stuff up around the 17th to the 24th fret and it was almost a joke how much easier it was to play on this scale. I wouldn't say I love the size, but it's definitely something I can see myself taking advantage of, as upper fret access has always been one of my complaints with many of the major brands.

Also this is my first ebony neck...I think I've found my favorite type of neck wood. This stuff just flows and resonates so well! The only neck I've played that feels better is the rosewood ones of PRS Custom 24s (and for the price they better feel fucking great lol). Ebony seems to be a very lively wood; even playing the guitar unplugged it feels very lively, something that so many guitars lack :wallbash:
