Just lovely. I like the glass of the flamed maple (I'm assuming) and transparent black. Looks equally at home with playing some punishing riffs or jazzy chords.

How are the blackouts? I still can't decide whether to get a 27" or a 28" scale 8. Theres just too many good ones.

I am very pleased with the blackouts. There heavy but clear and also sound great clean. Im liking the 27" scale. The 8th string feels pretty good tuned to EBEADGBE with .10-.80 gauge on the strings. The neck is not to thick for me.
