It's not so much the aesthetics of the Tele. It's the utilitarian nature of them and unique, cutting tone that seems to be most of the appeal. At least it is for me.

I cannot tell what appeals me in that shape, it just looks and feels like a guitar should:)

My first guitar was also a tele so that could be where it comes from:)

Tele was also one of the first (or the first, depends on what counts) solid body guitar, but i assume that you already knew that.

Mr.Leo did certainly have something going on in there:)

I don't know if i could live with a headstock like that... i'm sure it plays well but i would just cover it up...

First of all, this guitar is completely sweet. I'd love to play it.

That said, there are two things that make a guitar tele-like for me: Having the tele shape, and having a bridge Pup that's part of the ginormous tele bridge assembly. A hipshot bridge + some other pup just won't cut it.

Of course, that may just be me. I'm pretty drunk.

And some people will say it's not a Tele if it doesn't have a Tele pickup. It's all pretty silly to be honest. Perhaps when they propose a new name for Telecaster-shape guitars that's as easy as "tele" or "telecaster" I'll listen to them.

You sir, are pretty darn right:)

Of course this T-style guitar doesn´t completely sound like a T-guitar and that´s mainly because the bridge pup.
Although the neck pup (if it were wired in) sounds pretty close on a clean setting.
But, does my gorgeus T-style baby have to sound like T-guitar when i play some death meatal on it:)

Its just the body style i am attracted to, the T-style sound is good too but i dont really need it.

I really wish they made the T-style bridge for sevenstringers
