NGD...Archo...?!?!

So in a couple threads I created I mentioned that I wanted an Archon.

Well Zzounds has their 12 month payment plan...so I decided now was the time.

Yeah I got the el34 version.

Honestly what else is there to say.

I played the 6l6 version this past week with sounded awesome, but i like the tone of el34s. I will say this, I can tell the difference in the tone in this amp.

Also went the combo route because I'm sick of hauling a 412 now i can just plug into someone elses at a gig!!

I curently have this beast plugged into my Randall 412 with sevnty80s and for the first time ever this cab sounds amazing






And no you can't have any clips...unless you want shit cell phone ones!

I'm so tempted at purchasing an amp through payment plan... Archon, VH4 or a Roadking... -sigh-

By the way, I've not researched the Archon well enough to know... There's no gain knob for the lead channel? What regulates how much gain you're gonna be using?

Hahaha... I couldn't help it! No gf...no real bills = GAS

When I bring this to my drummers on Monday I will try and do a half assed recording... With a stereo rig! hahaha

Played through the 6L6 version a couple of weeks ago....such a glorious amp!!! Once I get the money...it's on and popping!!!!

If you ever get a chance to play one do it. The ads are true, its not hype. The range of tones is unreal... And none of them sound bad.

Thanks! And I couldn't agree more! Played for three hours straight this morning with this stupid grin on my face. I havent found 'my sound' yet but im getting close.
