NGD: Blackmachine B6 (with Bonus!)

Hello everyone, it's been a while, but I thought you might enjoy my newest guitar! It's a brand new Blackmachine B6!

Specs:
Body - Swamp Ash
Neck - Three-piece Maple
Fretboard - Indian Rosewood
Scale - 25.5"
Frets - Dunlop 6100
No front inlays
Bridge - Schaller Hannes
Nut - GraphTech BlackTUSQ
Pickups - Bare Knuckle Juggernauts

She feels amazing. Setting aside the spot-on setup (Jonathan Law over at Feline Guitars did a ton of work on her, and she feels flawless), the neck practically plays itself. I'm also really digging the Juggernauts. The bridge is everything I've ever wanted in a bridge pickup for metal.

I know this is really ravey, but after waiting for this guitar for two and a half years, I'm shocked at how satisfied I am.

Having been some what confused about the hype of Blackmachine in the past, my mind completely changed after playing a B6 a few months ago.

It really blew me away at just how resonant it was. Everything about it was just perfect. I would of put my name down for one that instant if I had the money.

Classy beast! Do you feel comfortable with the hannes? I heard it's quite annoying for intonation and that stuff.. But i love its look!

I haven't had to mess with it much, but it's been very comfortable to play on and seems quite easy to adjust. It's a little more comfortable than the Hipshot I have on my Mayones, and one hundred times more comfortable than the Fender modern tremolo I have haha.

Having been some what confused about the hype of Blackmachine in the past, my mind completely changed after playing a B6 a few months ago.

Exact same revelation happened to me - I thought they were overpriced and overhyped, but I managed to play one and was stunned - it was just a fantastic-feeling, light, resonant, well-set-up and beautifully crafted guitar. The construction is so tight, in fact, that you could have told me it was made in a lab and I'd have believed you, but then I find out that Doug does all the woodworking completely by hand, no machines at all - and even more amazingly, he apparently barely measures anything. Just does it all with his hands and eyes, and seemingly gets it right every single time.

Sorry for massively necroing my own post, but I wanted to share an update with anyone interested (and who wanted to know what the bridge sounded like). Five years later, she's still the best guitar I've ever played, in feeling and in tone.
