Simply so lovely! no more werds needed. Congrats.

Nice seing the vol knob placed so it can be pinky operated for volume swells while still being out of harms way, and the pup switch free of interference for fast operations.
I've seen way too many guitars with inoperable controls; Carvin just gets it right.
I need to mod my Schecter Riot 8 ltd for the same reason..

Ohh.. what's the neck woods on your Carvin bass?

neck woods for the bass appear to be same as the 8, maple with walnut stripes. by the way i bought that bass used. i paid 200 bucks and traded a MIM jazz bass that i bought for really cheap! hell of a deal!

I like your options because you pretty much got the same as I did except for my flamed Koa top and the blackburst headstock. Mine was tung oiled from the heel up with the same black cutaway thin burst. Nice...
