NGD CUSTOM BUILD-ISH MOCKINGBIRD BROKE MY CAPSLOCK KEY

This guitar is a few years old but new to you guys
Well I wanted a guitar that was simple straightforward and excuse to build and tinker. So I i present my Snowblind Mockingbird. Now the body and neck came from Warmoth, which to me is like a snap together model kit. But i made some mod design changes on to the details.

Body: black limba
Neck: Purpleheart
Fretboard: Satine (bloodwood)
Pickup: Bill Lawrence 500XL
Joint: Pinset Hybrid. Warmoth comes all bolt on which i did not want. SO i set the neck as well as pinned it with custom purpleheart dowels for strength (i took pics of the process )
Bridge : Schaller set into milled brass posts
Tuners: Spritzel
COmpound radius freetboard
And I custom made the control covers and turned the knobs myself

That's a pretty interesting take on attaching the neck to the body. Good idea, and good execution.

doing that with the neck and dowels you could have made them a slight large diameter and shaved/rounded down the heel considerably
