NGD EBMM JPX!

I figured a good first post would be about my new guitar!

I ordered this from a local music shop three weeks ago and its finally here. Apparently a latch on the case was broken and because it was the last JPX in the factory (allegedly) they didn't have anymore cases to swap so they had to make a new one. Alas, the wait is over and I couldn't be more pleased!

Congrats! I was starting to wonder if these would be discontinues soon. I really want a JPX actually, I hope they're not discontinued for a little while longer.

The EB sales rep told my dude at the shop that they aren't making them anymore. All that's left is old stock it seems so I'd hop on it if you've got the beans to drop

Why are they discontinuing it? Hopefully it's not because of the Majesty because I don't see myself getting one anytime soon.

I don't think he said they were discontinuing it, just that it was the last one at the factory. I was just saying I hope they don't discontinue it, but really there are like 18 JP models so I figure eventually they'll have to.

Saw the most recent post -> I see. I'll probably shoot them an email to confirm. I could see this being a guitar I don't get now and really want in a decade

I'm not sure, honestly. It's the only one with an ebony fretboard (which was a huuuge selling point for me). I'm not too fond of the Majesty but out with the old, in with the new I suppose.

Just out of curiosity, with the exception of the EVH model, what remotely popular guitar has EBMM ever discontinued? I don't anyone who has bought the baritone JP model but it has been in their catalog all these years.

I bought an EBMM Baritone JP, but I haven't seen anyone else with one.
