It's here.

Specs:
BODY ------- Mahogany Sapelle with Wenge top.
NECK ------- Wenge with Bloodwood skunk-stripe.
FRETBOARD - Macassar Ebony fretboard.
PICKUPS ---- BKP Black Dog set (coming soon).
CONTROLS -- Ibanez JPM Petrucci-style layout.
BRIDGE------ Hipshot Fixed 0.175".
TUNERS----- Hipshot Griplock.
NUT--------- Graphtech Tusq Graphite Self-Lubricating.

Picked it up from Ernie's store today and brought it home.
Craftsmanship is top notch. The instrument feels rock solid and everything is seamlessly put together.
And I'm happy to say that it's got the tone to match its looks.
Extremely punchy with a crisp attack on the lows. Also has this wicked grind to it that sounds killer.
Really thick sounding guitar, and yet it has a very lively percussiveness.
I asked Ernie for a superstrat shape and profile but with the tone to match my Edwards Sykes LP and that's what he delivered.

It's the most comfortable playing guitar I've ever layed my hands on.
The neck profile is very similar to my Ibanez RG1550 but with just a touch more meat to it. And there's something really special about the way the wenge feels in the hand.

Currently has my Fender EVH pickups in it, but I'm waiting on a set of Bare Knuckle Black Dogs to try in it.
Clips to come.

Now I didn't get home until after dark, so I couldn't use natural light for the pics.
But I did my best with the rubbish lights we have here.
And the pics are huge so you can see the guitar up close if you click the bar.
Enjoy!

Like it a lot! :yesway: I wouldn't exactly call that a wenge top, the body is just half wenge! Damn, that's a lot of wenge!

Looks very nice! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts in the BPK black dogs in that wood selection. It reminds me a lot of me incomming custom, wood wise :) Anyhoo, gz with what looks like a fine instrument!

This is awesome, love the wood choices. Curious, how heavy is this? I imagine it has a fair bit of heft.
