Very nice. All of my favorite Warmoth appointments, though I do prefer 6100 SS frets. How are those piledrivers, and what kind of music are you playing this with?

the 6150 frets are the only ones i've used from warmoth although i'd probably enjoy the 6105 as well. i play a lot of hard rock to classic rock with this guitar. the piledrivers are real versatile. they definitely keep that tele tone but can get super angry with the right settings. i love them

Happy NGD, this is so tasty. The only thing I would change would be the bridge for a full tele bridge. How do you like the piledriver set? How would you compare the sound to a vintage style tele set?

That's beautiful, dude! Really nice work. I'm not a big fan of contours on guitars like tele's but hell, I'd play that thing.

I'll go ahead and +1 on it needs a real tele bridge :)

I'm super jealous. I've really been gassing for a tele recently, but had the same feelings as you after playing some (faster neck, bigger frets, better contours).

- nothing wrong with standard tele bridges. i just wanted to try something different
- piledrivers are very versatile. They're not twangy like a standard set but they definitely still have that tele type tone to it. Higher output for sure. They can get pretty brutal too under the right cirumstances. And they are nice and fat. Maybe a little more than your typical tele pickups

Already saw this in the random 6 thread, but figured I'd come in here to drool over it again :agreed:

Best looking tele I've seen in awhile
