Walked into a small local shop with my semi beat up 60's tribute les paul hoping to find something to trade for. I was looking for something less traditional and that would serve for a cool platform. Nothing all the interesting popped up until I saw an Ibanez hanging on the wall. I tinkered with it and couldn't put it down. Shortly afterwards I walked out with this
(effin' phone camera...)
Wish I had an actual camera to do this thing any justice but...
Its an RGA121:
Body: Mahogany (maple top)
Neck: 5pc Wizard "prestige"
pick-ups: EMGs (not stock, i believe its a 81/60 set)
Fretboard: Rosewood
Bridge: Gibralter Plus
Tuners: Gotoh (stock I think?)
I love this thing, its ridiculously easy to play. Not a huge EMG person so these will be replaced in the months to come (I'm thinking about a Holy Diver bridge and a Cold Sweat neck). Took it to my 3120/mesa 412 and was instantly happy with my trade. The only major cosmetic flaw is the chip in the headstock veneer but everything else is fine and I can't put this thing down
