Well, after a long 2 week wait, it's finally here!
This is my first Suhr, and I'm really impressed.
Build quality is top notch as has been said about Suhr many times before. Not a single manufacturing defect/anomaly; even the cavities are well manicured.
The walnut top looks spectacular, and tone wise adds a lot of low-mids, so overall, even with the maple neck, it's a fairly dark guitar. VERY focused sounding (not sure if this has to do with the walnut or the Aldrich); had a to crank the mids on my amp more than with any of my other guitars.
Sustains better (way better) than any of my other floyd guitars.
With the locking hipshots and blocked trem it seems extremely stable tuning wise, but time will tell.
The fretwork is spectacular and it's official, I'm a fan of SS frets. I just wish they did the "hot-dog" fret ends like my custom ESPs, but I'm nitpicking.
The neck is a 10-14" compound, but the seller stated it was 10-16" which was a bummer b/c I really wanted a 10-16!!
Pickups are an Aldrich (bridge) and Air Norton S (neck); I'm not really loving either of the pickups...The neck seems too dark and kind of lifeless, and the bridge is thick and grainy. Not sure what I'm going to replace them with, but I'll need something on the brighter side and more middy since the guitar is on the darker side and focused more on the low-mids. Suggestions welcome!
And onto the porn......

Nice.

I really like the looks of a Humbucker & single coil neck pup guitar.

I'm selling one of my Custom Shop ESPs because of the Suhr Modern I just bought.

I must have missed your ngd post for that one....got any pics?!
Do you find the moderns to be a bit stiffer than the esps?

Stiffer as in string tension? My two modern's are tuned to E and all my ESPS Eb so I can't really compare. The first Modern I bought had Elixir Nanowebs on it and I loved them so much I switched all my guitars to them. Those do seem a bit stiffer than the EB Super Slinky's I always used before. If that guitar has Elixirs on it maybe that's what you're feeling.

I'm not going to whore you're thread with pics of mine to take away from the awesomeness of yours.

Oh I remember that one!!
Congrats!

I changed the strings to what i usually use (and the tone improved greatly, much brighter, the previous strings looked new so it has to be the material they were made from) but the stiffness was the same. I can't see how one guitar would be stiffer than the other with the same strings, bridge and nut, so it must be my imagination!
