Not really sure how to go about doing justice to an EPIC NGD but here goes...

About 10 months ago I became fed up with searching for my dream 6 string guitar, so I decided I really wanted myself a guitar from my visions.

This is when I turned to the master himself, Brett Smith of Guitar Logistics.
If you don't know his work from his many many build threads on here, I suggest you do some research, because not only is everything he puts out absolutely stunning, but they also function as highly playable instruments!

Now onto why I'm posting...

I know a few of you already know all about this guitar (Scherzo...) but for those that don't heres the Specs:

Guitar Logistics S906
Banshee

Sapele body (African Mahogany)
Gorgeous Burl Maple top
25.5" 5 piece Maple/Bloodwood neck
Reversed Headstock w/Matching Burl Top
Bloodwood fretboard
Custom Diablo Pickups (Made by Brett)
Single Volume knob, with Bourns 500K pot
3 way toggle
Gotoh Locking Tuners
Hipshot Bridge
Dunlop Recessed Straplocks

I believe thats all :)
I'm sure i'm forgetting something but you get the picture.

My first impressions are that this guitar will probably replace all my other guitars. Its supppperrr resonant, so much louder acoustically than all my other guitars. Plugged in, its super punchy and has soo much clarity that I dont really know what to do with, as i'm sooo used to EMGs. I really have to mess with all my tones. So far all i've been doing is playing on a clean setting as it really just shows how beautiful the guitar sounds. Now, I will be in the honeymoon phase for a while but as the guitar settles (it is brand spankin new) I'm sure i will fall more in love and really find out its true potential.

Now for the reason you've all come...

and just know that these do absolutely no justice at all, I will get better pics very soon, but I didn't wanna stop playing it, and stupid work got in the way.

There will be soundclips, and hopefully a few videos in the very very near future, but I wanna break her in a lil bit first.

If you love it almost as much as I do (you never will come close) you'll want to check out how she was made here:

and Brett's gallery photos cause there way more better (double positive) than mine) here:

Now you may breathe :)

Cheers!

Thanks man!

Yes the pups are awesome, it was just really weird because when I put it on a heavy distortion, its soo clear that it hurt my ears because im so used to all the strings fighting each other.

And the profile is really cool, a little different than what i'm used to, if im not mistaken its a EDIT: 16" radius, and the profile kinda reminds me of a wizard, but not as tiny. Im used to a compound radius on my jackson, so it took like 2 mins of getting used to. But boy is it fastttt!!! :)

reminds me of an RG with a Parker headstock. I dig it.

Those pickup routes are HUGE.

Man, bloodwood sure does make for a snazzy fretboard. I need to remember that the next time I'm fantasizing about all the custom guitars I'm never going to have. That burled top is pretty spiffy, too.

Congrats, duders.

Super gigantic congrats bro. I'd love to try one of his axes one day.

I just absolutely love his work.
