NGD: Holy Crap Did I Really Just Buy A Custom Shop Jackson?!?

I bought a Jackson DK2M from Guitar Center's used site. It said it was in great condition, but when it showed up it was pretty banged up. I returned it the next week and went back on their site again to look for another one in better condition....when I found this:

FYI this guitar is stupidly hard to photograph.

Trying to get the logo, but it's difficult. It honestly looks like it's got the same trans finish as the body. Do they do logos like that?


I got a pretty killer deal on this thing. I didn't know this when I bought it but it was actually just finished at the end of February, so for all intents and purposes it's brand new. Not sure what pickups are in it yet, but they sound pretty sweet so they'll do for now. This thing plays amazingly well, thanks to the oiled neck and the low action. After this and my PRS Floyd, I don't think I can go back to painted or glossed necks.

The pics don't even do it justice because it's so hard to capture. The edges is basically a PRS "fog' white burst, but I can't really describe the trans color. I mean I guess it's white, but I don't know. It look likes a creepy ass horror movie fog.

Super Congrats, you made an excellent decision!! beautiful trans white top or Radioactive burst if you wanna call it !! On of the best finishes I've seen specially on a Jackson

I made a buddy of mine get a Custom select soloist with similar specs and he is the happiest guy in the world.

I guess I'm next. I have to sell a couple of guitars first however.
