NGD - Ibanez RG852 Prestige 8 String with Bare Knuckle Aftermaths

Picked this up for a steal this week. Bought it with the intention of getting it re-finished in neon green as a tribute guitar to Justin Lowe from After The Burial (RIP).

Can't decide if I am going to keep the BKPs or throw in some Seymour Duncan Black Outs since Justin used those in his guitar. Might also grab an iron age killswitch to throw in the tone knob spot since it's empty at the moment.

Don't you have to route out some space for the blackouts? I'd be a little scared to do that with a prestige.

852s are already routed for actives

sell them bkps, even if they do sound a tiny bit better they look wrong in that guitar

aftermaths blow imo. I'd sell them and switch 'em out though not for blackouts.

Yeah as stated, these come stock with EMG 808s so I assume the SD's should fit in just fine

I would never swap Aftermath's for Blackouts, maybe just get some plastic pickup covers and it will look like actives?
