NGD: Ibanez RGD7421, D Activator 7s, Ibanez WD7

Hey guys!

My first thread here, and its a NGD (Gear and guitar).
I have my first 7 string guitar, an Ibanez RGD7421 from the states on its way, and should be here within the next week (hopefully in once piece )
To go along with the guitar I have ordered some other nice things too.
Dimarzio D Activator 7 bridge awaiting dispatch
Also an Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah Pedal (been waiting on this for a while as new stock is coming in this week) and Ernie Ball 11-58 set strings!

Going to be plenty to look at here when all this stuff starts arriving and I will update with pictures as soon as possible!

I just picked up an RGD7421 with an Aftermath in the bridge and a ColdSweat in the neck, and it's like my new favorite guitar. You will definitely love it!

Grats on the new st00fz, but i think mods tend to delete NGD threads that dont include actual pics of the gear. Stock photos dont count either.

It's pretty much been said already, but yeah, mods might delete this since you don't actually have the gear yet (making it not technically an NGD)... Good choice on the guitar though!

Deletion by the mods is mercy compared to the grilling some people will give you.

Yes sir, I did. Apparently the seller thought it was a regular RG (which is aided by the fact the headstock does say RGSeries) and wasn't familiar with the RGD model. Made it a great deal.

Wanted to add that I have owned a WD7 for a few years and I also really love that. I don't use pedals often, but I do like a good wah sometimes and this fits the bill.

It feels amazing. The frets however do need some steel wool and polish but after that its perfect!
Had a problem with the weeping demon pedal... Everywhere I looked at is out of stock until the end of the month.
Waiting for the D Activator to show up and get it in this thing!

Today, I bought RGD7421 from a shop. Last piece they had.
At the same time, I went to another shop to get BKP Aftermath pickup set.

Install installation of the pickups, I realise how different the sound was.
