NGD - "It's still a Polish year" - Skervesen Raptor FF8 MDB

After ordering a raptor 6 last year, buying a raptor 7 at the beginning of 2014, it was obvious i had to buy a raptor 8 when i'll have the opportunity.

And this is it !
I bought this bad boy from Tomas of Modern Day Babylon. I always loved his raptor, he has be kind enough to let it go after some months of spamming "sell it to me" messages on his fb .

The guitar looks even more stunning than in video/pics, that burl poplar top is beautiful with a lot of small details in the wood grain.
The neck plays smooth and is not so wide for an 8, i received it with a fresh setup from Skervesen guys, it plays like a charm
I really dig the reverse viper head, in fact this is the first raptor 8 with viper head ever made.

Soundwise, it's a skervesen, lots of clarity, very articulated sound and never muddy even in low tuning, painkiller/coldsweat combination works great

If i have to sell it one day, i already have a nice buyer list

but i can trade it for your viper when you want without problems
