My photos suck, but it looks sweet, and I cant believe how nice the tone is. Really bitey and kinda punchy without being piercing. And the natural finish is bewdiful :D

Pickups are the stock JB and 59, they suit this wood perfectly.

I played one like this except with a matching headstock a few years back and the neck on it was the thinnest I've ever played. I never did find out what model it was, but it was pwn, had a HSS pickup configuration. Could have done with black hardware rather than chrome, and the neck was a bit too thin, but otherwise a very nice guitar.

Beautiful guitar. I wish all the US models had a 1/8" top like the top-range Stars. Lovely.

Jackson Stars is MIJ for the Japanese market only.

Some legal thing to do with the name, but I think soon it will be just Jackson here in Japan and the Stars logo will vanish.
