Hello to all,

Finally i've completed my new JPM7-321. It was once a RG7321 with full of modifications especially on electronics. A few month ago, i decided to change its appearence and refinish it into JPM P3. And at last i have what i want to have, JPM7;

Specs;

Body: Basswood
Neck: 5 piece maple/walnut
Production: 2007 Ind.
Neck Pickup: DiMarzio Blaze
Bridge Pickup: DiMarzio Blaze Custom
Pots: Alpha&CTS (no load)with Orange Drops and treble bleed mod
Additional coil splitter switch
Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose JPM P3 finish
All Modifications by myself ;)

And there you go...

I refinished, masked, spreyed, sanded, cleared, sanded and finally hand buffed by my hands ;)

No silly decals my friend :)

What is with all the Picassos today!

Looks very nice, though. Is that one of those decals I always see on eBay?

EDIT: Just saw the post about it not being a decal. Sweet.

Tenks bro :) IOU ;)

That is truly gorgeous! You can be proud of that piece of art...!

I am, my friend. I am not the one glorious luthier blazed by gods power :) But i try to do something. If i can get something better, then i feel myself so good.

Yep! I dont like graphic decals. They are not long lasting and i am able to paint guitars :)

Great job man. Props for really painting it. If it were me doing all that work I would have done a 7620 though. You should do the JPM Ibanez logo as well.

Serious question here...how much would you charge to do something like this? I've been toying with the idea of refinishing a guitar or two, and I'd absolutely love to have a guitar with that kind of paintjob, always been a Petrucci fanboy, and that would make my day.

PM me if you'd be interested ;)

I once saw an RG1527 that was modified to look like a JPM. It looked awesome.

However, yours looks even better i think!

Happy NGD! :)

I had 7321 and so that i did. In TR, finding 7620 is more difficult, imo. 1527s are more commonly available. But this guitar is also cool about tone. I searched a lot to find this one with much more resonant body so im pretty happy with it ;)

Congrats, man. I hope your guitar will look as good as you want ;)

I really dont know how to do something like this again. Some guys ask me to sell this and i may think to sell to have 2 x 12 cabinet. But to do it again, i really dont know. But i have a friend who supervised me to do this refinish job and did this;
