NGD: LTD MC-500

I have wanted one of these guitars since they came out in 2001 and now I finally have one! I love the color & the simple setup - it is awesome! the stock pickup is a Duncan Designed version of the Duncan Distortion - its not too terrible, but I will be replacing it w/ a Blackout. I also plan to replace the stock nut w/ a Bone one. Happy NGD to me!

Sweet Purchase! is the body in Maple, Alder or Mahogany? the net. seems have to have random info. on the wood ... only specs of the MC-600 with the Brazilian flag is to be found ..

I believe it is maple like the 600 series, but am not 100% sure. the info is scarse on this particular model. it seems to be a sort of hybrid of the 200 & 600 guitars. cheaper electronics & hardware like the 200, but constructed like the 600.
