So after having the LTD JR-208 for a month, which is alright after new strings and a set up, I saw this on sale. Tried this out at Guitarguitar in Glasgow, and decided, if I'm going for an 8 string, let's get something decent and that I can use on tour for my band where I use 7 string.

Set up is decent, the Fishmans are hot as hell and it looks silly. I'm into it. I'm not into Deftones at all, but Stef has some cool guitars.

That's a nice guitar! I just picked up a 208 myself (bought locally, never saw your post), and you're right: Steph has some very nice guitars. I actually like the middle positioned humbucker. It's warm without being overly woolly like too hot of a neck pickup can be.
