I haven't even finished wiring this guitar yet and I can't help showing you guys. Acoustically, it sounds absolutely huge; much louder than any of the other guitars I have built. I'm already in love with it and I have yet to plug it in.

Pictures!

Thanks so much guys.

what kind of wood did you use?

looks great!

The body is quartersawn sapele w/ a wenge top. The neck is layered with the body wood continuing down the neck and through the headstock, with a maple board on top. The fretboard is Padauk.

Whoa..... I've never been a huge fan of the star shaped axes, but that one is amazing!

I have a feeling it balances out nicely too. Well done man! The whole area around the jack and electronics is genius! The body going into the neck too.... Insane.

How you blended the body and neck woods is a great idea.

Any idea how stiff this is vs normal neckthrough construction?

Wow, that is awesome man! HNGD! Looks like the neck has a pronounced V shape to it, it might just be me.

Holy ....ing shit! A fanned, 7-string Star - amazing!

EDIT: Time for a quick guitar history lesson: The Star shape was a Charvel thing that began with EVH back in the 80s, not an ESP thing. :noplease:
