I dig the white-on-white :yesway: I'd love to see how it looks with pearloid tuning pegs and/or a pearloid pickguard!

How does she play/sound? I have been GASsin' for one of these for a while but an still a bit put off by the "Made in Indo" tag...

Beautiful guitar, BTW. :metal:

Man it feels and sounds amazing. The pickups make a world of difference. I planned for this to be my backup 7, but it's quickly become my main 7 string. It really does leave behind my c7 Blackjack sound and feel wise.

That's awesome! I can relate, I used to own a C7 Blackjack and my Ibby s7420 slayed it. Now the Ibby is the only 7 I own, but been thinking of a hardtail and yours looks stellar :yesway:

Very nice...looks just like my '97 7620(BK)....minus the fixed bridge of course. I've had the guitar for 15 years (my first), did it up just like this about 10 years ago with white blazes and a custom 3-way....I still love it. Nicely done. :agreed:

To each his own but I never liked pickguards. :/

Looks way cleaner without one.

Hey there bud!

Sweet axe indeed, a mate of mine is planning on doing the same pickup swap on their 7421.
Would you mind telling me wether the bridge pickup was a 2 or 4 wire? I believe they had 2 wire
bridge pups around 2010, is this still the case on new 7421's? Or do they vary depending on country of manufacture?

This is my first time posting on here and id be stoked to get a response!
Cheers
