Since I currently own a stable of around 14 Ibanez guitars, something different was required to break monotony and inspire something different.

Enter this Strandberg Fusion 6. This thing is actually sick af. Being in Australia gave me very small amounts of opportunity to play a Strandy to justify a blind $3000-4000 purchase (yes thats how much they are here even for an Indo one, fucked i know). I was luckily enough to play Plini's personal Boden 6 and a Chris Letchford 7 and I knew that I wanted one, so the hunt began.

A good friend of the music store that I work at had brung this in for a restring/setup and I literally jumped the counter in eagerness to do it and was hooked with how light it was, the Endurneck and multiscale trem.

Jump forward to now, he wanted to sell it off due to lack of use and a pursuit in synths and other cool shit. So we worked out a sweet deal on both ends and for now my thirst for a Strandy has been quenched.

The Suhr pickups are beautiful, I'm enjoying the split positions WAAAAY too much, and coupled with my PRS MT15 and the new NeuralDSP Nolly, it can pull of literally any tone.

I know some people were having some QC issues, and I'm not going to say that this is PERFECT, but it is quite good. I reckon a shim in the end of the neck joint could have the action down exactly where I want it. The trem is nice, with the upcoming restring I'll investigate a noise that occurs when fluttering, and the multiple post positions.

TLDR; There's porn up above. Guitar is sick.

Sounds like a bunch of things fell into place and you were in the right place at the right time and now you're a happy owner of a guitar you've been wanting for a long time. Enjoy!!!
