So, I went to Tokyo, Japan 2 months ago and saw this guitar in person.

I really like it but the Price tag kinda puts me off also those Zebra dragon II pickups look kinda out of place in this guitar.

Anyhow, I was going to Tokyo again on 24, June. Few days before I go, the shop website listed this guitar in Summer Sale section with whooping 45% off.
I figure those pickups are easy fixes then I call the manager after I arrived the airport.
So I got the guitar now
It's not your typical bling bling Private Stock but I really like the vibe of this guitar, the sound is amazing, I already have few PRSi but this is my first Private Stock.

Kinda of a quick and dirty unboxing pics in the hotel.

Damn, I'd say just as bling, but just on the other side! 45% off too...can't argue with that. Saving a pic of your fretboard to my "PRS PS order inspiration" folder ;-)

Exactly haha! The front is kinda plain and the back has some crazy bling.
Almost all of my PRSi have Brazilian Rosewood neck or fingerboard, none of them has figure like this, my ME1 SC's headstock veneer is close but not quite, I guess you have to go there hand pick yourself to warranty such figure.

If that guitar isn't pure PRS Private Stock bling bling I don't know what is. That thing is a pure beauty.

HNG, oh boy...

Thanks man, the front doesn't look that bling up :p the back tho.

Congrats and HNGD

Thanks man!

As others have said, if this isn't cream-of-the-crop Private Stock bling, I really want to see what you consider deserving of the moniker...

Congrats on the stunning guitar!

wow. i am not a spalted maple fan by any means, but that back is unbelievable... HNGD!

Probably because the body looks like it's a mix between burl and spalted.
I usually do not like Spalted maple as well.

Maybe something like this :p, something have fancy top
I actually tried this pink PS as well, one of my target this time
I was choosing between this pink PS, another Cocobolo P22 and the Macassar Ebony one I bought.

Sweet lord baby jesus, that blows most of those private stocks out of the water IMO. Not blingy? You people are high on crack cocaine.
Thanks man!

Yeah, those spalted maple binding and bird actually look really nice!
I just ordered BKP RiffRaff set for this guitar, with brushed nikel cover and gold screws, black pickup rings as well.
