Hey guys so for months and months I have been deciding on my first 7 string. I have played them several times before but I have never actually owned one myself so I wanted to make this one special.

So after a lot of thought and lurking of the classifieds and round here I finally decided on what I would get.

My cat tends to lurk around boxes on the floor a lot... Just like every other cat, right? :agreed:

He's wary at first but he gives me the go ahead..

The EMG's sound fantastic in this wood combo.

Overall its a brilliant guitar and I can't stop riffing and soloing like crazy on it! :shred:

Any questions, just ask!

Great guitar for a first 7 and coincidentally also the only Schecter that I really dig due to the wood/construction combo :)

How bright (visually) is the maple? Sometimes it looks really yellow, and here it looks fairly pale.

Its just the 12th fret that looks like it.. here's a picture of the 5th fret and 15th fret.

I guess it was not cut right, oh well :) its hardly noticable up front - its my camera with its crazy focus.

and the maple board looks good, its not VERY pale but its not VERY yellow I guess its a fine mix, still nice and bright.

Looks like Schecter still puts kind of flat-top frets on the Loomis. I sold mine because of that.

Congrats on your purchase mate, but next time maybe you should tell that people on the classifieds waiting for shipping notice that you back off instead of finding it out from a NGD thread :)
