Chambered Basswood Body
Maple Top
Wenge Neck
Ebony Fretboard
22 Fret Stainless Steel
DiMarzio Titan Bridge/ Gravity Storm Neck.
Schaller Bridge
Gotoh Locking Machine heads.
Excuse the I-Phone camera shots.
Very lightweight, which is great for my back. The chambered body makes this beauty very resonant and full of character with beautiful mid range overtones. The guitar is set up perfectly. The Titan bridge and Gravity Storm neck give me a very wide variety of tones with the 5 way switch - Jazz, Blues, Progressive Metal, Funk. Probably one of the most versatile sounding guitars I've ever played.
My favourite thing about this guitar is definitely the wenge neck (wizard shape) . Don't think I will be able to use a different wood for a neck ever again. Beautiful chocolate colour, very hard with a coarse textures, open grain (which is very stiff). Strong midrange tones and warm lows enabling me to get the tone I'm after. Usually marketed towards bass players I chose this wood for the punchy mid range. The coarseness of the wood tends to have less surface drag for your thumb while sliding, it's very fast feeling.
Will upload soundclips soon.
