This guitar arrived to me Friday a week ago. It is a custom Siggery Heresy FF8.

Body: Mahogany/Quilted Maple
Neck: 5 Piece Wenge-Bubinga
Fingerboard: Sonokeling Rosewood
Scale: 24.75"-27", straight fret at 7th

Personal commitments & day job have kept me from spending too much time with it yet, and a lack of 0.05" allen keys in my toolbox have kept me from intonating it properly after switching to a heaver gauged string set, so I'm not ready to give an all out review at this moment.

However, first impressions out of the box:

WOW! Its absolutely gorgeous!

The pickups are really clever, picks up the range of the guitar really well (no pun intended).

The neck is exactly as I ordered, which is great! It feels like a smaller jump from 7-8 than 6-7 was before. Will definitely take shorter time getting used to, and thats more the longer scale at the bottom than the number of strings.

Now the pics (Marty sent me really good ones, but here is a couple of my own):

^ They are cost more. But, they are better more, too, so it's no comparison.

Speaking of which, is there somewhere (or a thread) where someone could give me an idea of Siggery's prices or estimates? (Someone aside from the OP-er since I feel that would be an inappropriate thing to ask direct in his thread.)

I'd recommend you to dropp Marty an e-mail to get fresh info. If you ask him for his base price I'm pretty sure he will respond fast. :agreed:

Either throw Marty a message

Dig here, I think a couple have mentioned estimates.

And, HNGD to the OP. Damn that's one fine finish.

Looks absolutely stunning, she's a beaut :agreed:

Can't say I'd have the headstock the same on mine, cool nonetheless.

Yeah, man! That is beautiful!! Big congrats and enjoy! :)

Thanks guys!

Its great to have something tailored to your specs, though there is defintely the uncertainty of not being able to see or play it until quite some time later when it finally arrives. Ever been to the local guitar shop to try out FF8's...?

But the neck wood, finish and pickups has exceeded my expectations so far, looks great and tonal options are quite versatile.
