Congrats man!

She's a beautiful specimen for sure, I just noticed the binding , that is such a subtle and nice touch, definitely jealous.. I seriously cannot wait until mine is done :)

Hey guys, so I've been playing it yesterday and today. As you probably guessed it's very well built and plays great. It's a 22 fret guitar, so that's taking some getting used to, since I've been playing 27 fret beasts.
The two 3-way switches are cool because there are a million different combinations. (OK, just 9 - but it seems like a lot!) The "acoustic mode" is pretty cool, too. With so many possibilities in electronics I'm surprised more guitars don't have tonal options like this. In the future I think I'm going to go for this sort of thing rather than a tone knob (which this guitar also doesn't have).

I'm not sure what the neck wood is on here. I'll have to ask Lothar or the Skervesen guys.

Anyway, not that they need another vote of confidence, but if anyone is considering ordering a Skervesen, don't hesitate. The quality is there, and all the little things, like the binding, the CNC name on the wood electronics cover, are awesome additions.

Awesome looking guitar, HNGD. The best part is that top is almost Lime colored.

The neck is rosewood/ebony which is not a standard option :)

Yeah, it's substantially more of an aqua blue in real life. But that's interesting that you say lime, because I'm working on getting a lime stained guitar with a Mexican cocobolo FB (with lots of orange going on) because I just love that color.

pau ferro (which we buy under the name of santos rosewood)/ebony.

as a sidenote - if one wants to say that boise de rose is just rosewood it's ok. as long as cocobolo is also just a rosewood ;)

Cuz I got me some Skervy!!!!

Not my colour, but great guitars. Or so I've heard, I'm just one of the petty peasants.

The neck on that thing looks great. The guys from Skervy are slowly winning my heart. Hopefully, I can jam on one someday.

Haha, yes, the candies are good!

Also, I TOTALLY agree about the rosewood. The rosewood on an Ibby/Schecter/Kramer etc. FB is waaaay different than the fancier rosewoods. I used to hate rosewood - now I just hate the crappy ones.

Nice for the candies ;)

Rosewood... a large story... Ibanez uses various Indian rosewood... some are good, some aren't....
PRS uses indian rosewood (now)...
Brazilian rosewood is no more available to cut through, maybe you can find a luthier who have a couple of pieces of this fantastic wood...
The african rosewood is also great. He's figured as the brazilian one, with chocolote and dark orange colours, and the strenght and resonnance of this wood is comparable to the brazilian one. You can find it much easier than the high-priced 'salsa' wood ;)
