Finally, my own 7!! I was contemplating whether to get a JPXI or a UV. Then my friend phoned me up that he could get me a brand new UV777 for about 2 grand USD(after taxes..etc.). The catch - I have to fly overseas to pick it up. Well, I was about to anyway, so that pretty much sealed the deal for me!!

I have played RC7s, Schec 7s,...etc., and I have to say that this is right up there with RC7s.

TBH, I was underwhelmed when I first opened up the paper box and saw the case in person for the first time. The exterior of the case is fugly imo. I prefer something that's more subtle and doesn't scream out "STEAL ME!!".

The UV777, on the other hand, is smoking hot just as expected!!

Beautiful UV headstock!!

It's set up perfectly out of the factory. Perfect action, no string buzz, no problems!!

Stock DiMarzio Blazes as of now, WTB Bare Knuckle Aftermaths!!

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. My UV plays so smoothly and it kills my Gibson Les Paul in terms of playability. Zero complaints. WOOT!!

Cheers & Thanks!!

I always wanted one of those... but as of late, i've been moving more towards singlecut 6 string guitars...

I'm not sure what type of axe(wood type and all) they use on the BKP website audio samples but IMO the aftermaths are the best. Great choice, great Ibby.

^ That depends mostly on EQ. Not wood. But I guess the aftermath was recorded with a mahogany guitar? No?

And happy NGD! It's just crazy sexy! o_O

Looks great, man. I'd do some pretty immoral things for a UV.

Very nice for your first seven.

I hear BKPs are good but I haven't tried any yet. Keep the Blazes. Unless you enjoy soldering instead of playing. ;)
