That’s beautiful. Glad someone else is keeping the SSO pic story NGD tradition alive!

If you put zebra pickups in that I’ll hunt down your entire family. /s

^_^
Haha fair enough, but no need to put in the effort any time soon though  the cream is staying for the foreseeable future

I'm not generally a big fan of cream pickups, but they just look right with that guitar finish. If you do change them in the future, I would deifnitely recommend 'cookies & cream' (black/cream) over 'zebra' (black/white) for that guitar.

Oh yeah, I totally meant black and cream from the beginning, I'm just dumb
The cream goes super well with the logo and the maple binding and neck. White is a little too "contrasty" and Kiesel-y for this guitar.

I'm considering the same for my S2170SE, which has creamish bone-effect binding and tuners, but I've been pondering on that for a long time haha!

Can't hurt to try! I think cookies and cream would probably look cool on it. Keeps the theme of the swirled ebony, too.

The cream pups work REALLY well on that thing. HNGD and also A+ vintage thread vibes
Thanks! I've seen a couple other NGDs pop up recently with the classic format and picstory and it made me nostalgic  so when I got a J Custom from 2011 (around the end of the golden era of SSO) I figured I'd do the same. They're staying cream for a while. :)

Man, incredible team between this one and the Musicman you got a few weeks ago. Congrats!
