I have been unable to contemplate anything but the finishing assembly and hardware installation on this beast - finally it is playable.

Pickup selector isn't 100% yet. I can get bridge or neck by themselves, but not both at once. Still, worth a picstory.

The 28 5/8" seems to have tamed the mud of the invaders, giving a slime-drenched roar which is what I was hoping for. Maybe the swamp ash, bubinga and wenge helped, but I dunno about all that.

I plan on using it Arms of the Abyss, which I promise I will stop beating that dead horse soon haha :fawk:

Looking at tuning down another two semitones to FCFBbEbFC (from GDGCFGD those who cbf counting)

Straightforward and grunty FTW.

Cool guitar man. I love Warmoth stuff, and it's made pretty well Imo. I have an African Black Korina Telecaster I made a decade ago from their parts and some clearance Texas special pickups I got from Shitar center. I was impressed with the quality of their necks too. Let us know how it works out :)

Thanks blokes, I was up until midnight last night mashing at it and loving the sustain and resonance, particularly on the low FCF strings. The high strings are a lot more flexible than I recall at this scale length too which has been fun.

The action could be a feather lower but this neck feels amazing.
