ESP Standard MI NTB:

Well its here, i can honestly say its far superior to any LTD ive ever played, including the 1000 series. I still haven't replaced the factory strings or setup but i can say without a doubt this is a finely built instrument. Everything about it screams of quality, the fret work is some of the best ive ever seen period and its a production model! Ive looked over every inch of this beast and i cant find one fucking flaw. Couple of other notes: The volume knob does not get in the way at all and whoevers complaining about that has monkey hands.

Couple things im not a huge fan about, the guitars rather bright as most alder bodied guitars are and adding this EMG 81 to the mix seems a bit overkill in the brightness department. This is why ill be replacing the EMG with a Bareknuckel Warpig. And the tuning machines are a bit bunch up and i forgot how much of a pain the reverse headstocks are on these when it comes to tuning...

Overall im super happy and cant wait to get these 9's off and give it a good setup after it adjusts to the climate.

Well I see a flaw right off the bat! They forgot the neck pickup! Just kidding :D

That's some serious bullshit though that there isn't a case. I would think that if you spend past 800 dollars on a guitar, they would throw a case in.

Very nice. A ceramic Warpig will slay in that. Actually when I think about it though you may want to go with an Alnico since you only have one pickup. It will be a little more versatile.

That guitar is astonishing beautiful! I wish there was a 7 string version, though...

It's true that no case is a shame for the price tag that goes with these. :/
Checked on THomann and they do come with cases in europe, at 1500€ apiece they'd better.

I have a heavily modifed M1, and its my favourite guitar. I agree with you about it being very bright and the 81 is overkill, i have a bareknuckle warpig in mine and it now sound brutal:hbang: . The magnum lock tuners are complete garbage so i replaced mine with sperzel lockers. Anyways awesome guitar :shred:

Ya i dont know if i said it or not yet but ya, these tuners fucking blow ass. I changed the strings for the first time this morning and yuck heh.

Ive seen the post of yours and im gonna mod it exacly the same. Dumping this ugly cosmo chrome hardware for black, getting sperzels and dropping a warpig in.

I hate this 81.
