Oooof Pens went 1-8 on the power play last night against the Panthers... managed to tie it up with a couple seconds left and salvage a loser point but that was ugly.

Only Toronto could give up a 2 person breakaway while on the Powerplay.

Yeah, was there last night and their power play (and the last couple minutes of overtime before the shootout) was flat out awful. It’s as if the other teams have their playbook and Pens don’t know what to do….sigh.

They tend to be awful in overtime because Sullivan doesn't believe in practicing for it so they never practice 3on3.

These didn't age well 😉

I am more than okay with my previous spiral/panic/depression not aging well, haha. It was such a strange first quarter of the season - the organization didn't have any major personnel changes, and EDM went pretty deep post-season last year. To have October be as abysmal as it was came across as catastrophic, all things considered. Going 22-3-0 since the end of November seemed like a pipe dream.

On that topic, after today's win over NSH I wonder if the combination of the All-Star break and going against VGS for their (potential) 17th win might take a bit of the wind out of their sails. Here's hoping that thought ages poorly, too 🤞

Vancouver goes big and acquires Lindholm from CGY.

Monahan's days in MTL are numbered.

Looks like Carter Hart has been charged with sexual assault as a result of the 2018 World Juniors debacle and has been moved to a non-roster spot by the Flyers.

Puljujarvi gonna save the day?

For $800k he's not going to be worse than whoever he replaces in the lineup

Sounds like Kuznetsov is trying to get clean again...

Not surprised, his face has been on a milk carton all season. This teams is so bad, they just need to sell hard at the deadline. I haven’t seen them this bad since the season prior to the 2004 lockout when they fired Bruce Cassidy. Except, somehow they are even less entertaining. I actually read today that tv viewership is down 44% this year, the biggest drop in the league. It’s painful to watch.
