Both are very cool. I'd buy the new Nile if it came in a paper bag so the artwork is all bonus. Cant wait for this thing to drop. Love their older stuff like Seeds and Shrine but I feel like this is a band that is on top of their game right now, cant wait to hear the crazy riffs.:hbang:

That was....uhhhh...interesting

Karl wasn't kidding when he said the new album was going to be different.

Interesting as in fucking awesome. Awesome variation, very clear production (and very different from previous records) but it's got a classic Nile vibe with obvious ridiculous musicianship.

Reminds me of old school thrash vocals.

The sung parts at around 3:50 or 4:00 are actually pretty cool.

I like.

The tracking of the text is so intense. I mean it looks good when it's applied to one word but becomes way too difficult to read with multiple.

Really weird, but awesome. Vocals are pretty different and raw.

Yeah , it's really weird hearing such a clear Nile track.

I'm not sure if I really "like" it that much, but it's definitely not bad. :yesway:

EDIT: That part at 3:31, 3:45, and 4:00 rules hard.

it's definitely got an old school Nile sound to me which is cool, I haven't really gotten into anything since AOTW. nothing will ever surpass that album for me though :)
