Cool! I have a couple of questions, too. Why the high grade top if its swirled? And also, I love the fretboard, but I've always wondered if FBs like that, with two different species, would disrupt the frets if they expand/contract at different rates due to temp/humidity.

well ,before carved jobs i saw the wood is fine :scratch:

Isn't that the fault of the wood supplier? If you go for a high grade quilt maple, you want your god damn high grade fuckin' maple. When they supply the wood, they should've seen the woodworms, right?

Can't go wrong with a 7 string Parker. :yesway: I'm not huge on swirls either but this one is pretty nice; not overly gaudy and the colours work well with each other.

That's not the way it works, he found i after carving so clearly it wasn't seen before and therefor couldn't be seen while be graded. Wood isn't x-rayed

That's a killer swirl! I'm not a swirl fan, but I think that swirl looks more unique than yet another figured maple top.
