It's so hard to look at a twisted neck like that. Maybe it's fine, but aesthetically it just feels wrong. Peak "it's not a bug, it's a feature"!

Agree that at first glance it looks wrong and like someone really fucked up with the humidity controls in the shop, but the more I think about it the more I'd wanna try it out and think it would actually be quite comfortable. Either way, I think it's innovative and a cool innovation for trying to make basses more ergonomic.

idk man it sounds like a cool idea and I'm always down to see folks trying new stuff but this does just feel...strange. I feel like dialing in action would be an absolute nightmare, no? How's the truss rod going to work?

Certainly, and adults need to act responsibly and to weigh the certitude of each decision:
-If you buy said sick guitar, you will play it an enjoy it- guaranteed (save for QC issues, etc.)
-Will you live to retirement age? Will you get to retire? Will the tax advantages at time of retirement plan be worth it? With the investments within the IRA appreciate more than that of what will eventually be a vintage guitar? Impossible to know- don't bother.

That said, I dump a lot into my retirement plans which have all but guaranteed that I am dying the day before I can touch the money.
