NPD Elysian HPS 90 7 string

Just got my order put in a few months ago... and after they've shut down production while they move. I wanted a neck P90 for my 7 string arsenal ever since I switched to 7's and I thought, lets give this a try. Now the qestion is do I drop it in my Swamp ash 7 like intended or the custom build Im close to having started because it might be a while before they start producing USA pickups again?

Definitely toss it in the guitar you already have. You can always order another or try swapping it over to the custom down the road after it’s built. P90’s are sick, Adam makes killer pickups, and I think it’s a perfect neck pickup for a 7 string. It should be way more popular than it is. Install it already!

Yes! Install it on the guitar you have right now, check it, enjoy it and when you get the custom consider to install it in the new guitar or just order a new one...

You are both right of course... Im working on my first album in 22 years and dont want to grab a 6 to get that p90 sound so its going in my ash 7 as originally intended (see here https://www.sevenstring.org/threads/ngd-nice-ash.344303/ ). Should look sweet and the sound hopefully delivers.
