NPD - New Pickup Day

2 months ago i made a special order, a set of D-Activator covered to replace the stock SD P-rails in my Regius!


So... Finally i swap them!!!! Now the guitar looks, and sounds better (i play deathcore) lol

Well ... this covered dimarzios are large... the neck pickup is so tight in the cavity that does not need even a screw to keep it in his place. The tech had to take out the cover to bend(on both) a little bit and unfortunately he scratched the guitar a little bit while he was forcing the pup into the cavity


Btw nice pickup, matches perfectly with the regius, they are very responsive, tight and very equilibrated frequencies.

Thanks guys! I encourage anyone who likes metalcore/deathcore/djent to try the D-activators, this pups seems the best option if you don't have $$$ enough to buy a BKP(my case). But if you order a covered set like this one, be sure that you may have some problems. Ask dimarzio about the measures of the cover, and mensure the pickups cavities before order them.
