NUGD: 6505+ 112 Combo

I was looking for a more portable way to get a high gain tone, and found a guy in my home town was selling his 1x12 6505+! It's not as luggable as I was expecting, and is still bloody big, but it can be held by one guy.

I plan on splitting it into a cab and 1x12, then switch it out for a 2x12, probably Orange/Peavey.

good snag, buddy. picked up a used one myself a few months ago for about 325

Just put 2 TAD 6L6GC-STR power tubes and a WGS HM75 speaker in mine. Made the tone a little darker and the bass response WAY better. Huge improvement overall.

Definitely not a light amp by any means, but still manageable.
