Well, this is long overdue

Introducing my not-as-new-anymore RG1527RB J.Craft Prestige! Hooray.

Alongside the guitar, i got this:

Don't remember the name, but it's an 8$ pick or so, made of ebony.
Fun little thing, and pretty enough. Design seems good too.
I'll give it a spin and post my opinion (sick of them ultex picks!)

And if that wasn't enough:

Woot! a Blackstar HT-Dual.
Nasty, brilliant, gorgeous sounding little unit. I'm currently experimenting with it a bit - boosting it with another tube pedal seems to go very, very well (a Vox bulldog - pretty much Vox's take on the V-Twin/HT-Dual/H&K Tubeman etc. shennenigan).




Some tech info, 'cause i'm feeling spammy:
Trem's been locked with a block of maple (I know, i know. And i'm well aware of the existence of the RG1570. Sue me).
Pups are a modded JB bridge (shortened screws. Really opens the bugger up) and a 59' neck (very, very acoustic-sounding on this guitar).

Blackstar's tube has been switched to a EH one, and my Vox Bulldog's tube has been replaced with an AT7 for a cleaner boost.
Will record some samples once i'm done tinkering, and post them up!

I live up in the north so that doesn't help much either, lol.

the biggest mistake I made was selling my 1527 ... Iv tried many ibz models but nothing beats the feel of the 1527. congrats on ur guitar btw

A six string with a trem at that. RG7621 is a nice fixed bridge seven.

Well I'm up next to Naharyia, not exactly close, so I dunno~

Anyway, from what I felt it was fine, but not for me. pickups sounded really undefined. plus, the cheesy pentagram inlays didn't help much. but again- haven't had much time to check her out, so if you want one better just go and try it~
I do like my Cort 6 string though, nothing special but it fits me for now (and m600t if anyone would care)

Hopefully I'll have more luck finding 7's to try when I'll be in tel aviv next time, any recommendations on where to look?
