Pretty much what they've said. I'll add that for the neck, I think it will be good for note definition and clarity.Somewhere between a rosewood and ebony. It's quite bright, but not exactly harsh, and it does retain some sweetness to it (with a gigantic IMO).
i still have the second "unclaimed" piece of Redwood Burl that was cut from the same billet as that one. i think that's gonna be for me personally, with one of those magnificent Ziricote boardsredwood burl is next on my list, i got to have a build with it
Bubinga is a very amazing tone wood. i first got into listening for tone in woods with drums, and Bubinga became my favorite wood for drums. it's so full and rich, with just enough top end. it's a shame it's not used more in guitars. i'd like to change thatthat....ziricote....
Never have I gassed so hard over wood.
Im thinking a ziricote fretboard, maple/bubinga neck, mahogany body, spalted maple top.
