Just waiting on the hardware for Mike's 6 string to pass it off to him now. Need to re-do Pry's finish on the front and back because of a deep scratch that only really became visible when i went out into the sun with it. Grr....

I've got most of the neck blanks prepped now and should be cutting the scarfs tomorrow and this weekend. Also received all the nifty figured redwood, grafted walnut and figured myrtlewood from Oregon Wild Wood today.

I've done up most of the fretboards as well - just did up one in macassar ebony that turned out really nice too.

Pics coming tomorrow!

My child behaving still?

Yep! there will be pics tonight. I've got the thickness calipers at the ready with yours. :p The main carve is all done on the neck, i'm just getting the measurements down with 80 grit and should be moving onto getting all the scratches out later this weekend. :)

I usually dont' mention it on here because it's a jinx!:scream:

I unwrapped the wood last night from Oregon Wild Wood - it's clamped up right now. Hoping to snap some pics Saturday. I've also got your neck blank glued up as well and your fretboard cut. Pics Saturday!

Here's a pile of pics anyways - kinda unsorted right now.

Couple of really nice rosewood fretboards...

Strung up Mike's guitar - didn't have the black hardware yet, but i did have gold...which actually looks pretty nice.

You need to find some places with better lighting man

This was done outside in direct sunlight! That couch sits on my balcony.

I blame research in motion for such a crappy camera.... grr.

In other news - got all the black hardware onto Mikes guitar, Pry's guitar is just getting polished up and ready for hardware, nicks guitar is almost done sanding. Just gotta finish up the fretwork and it's into the rack for finish!

This weekend i'll be doing up a lot of headstocks and scarfs to the necks. I've already got 3 headstocks glued on so i'll probably have fretboards attached for at least 2 by Saturday evening too....

Sweet FB, as usual, Brian.
And lol at the stained couch. "How metal are Bowes guitars? Dude, they're STAINED COUCH metal, that's how metal they are!"
