Final payment sent today! There's still a lot of work
to be done on the graphic on my guitar which will
be on front and back. Was speaking to Dylan on the phone
a few days ago and it'll probably be the end of the month
before it's done. Can't wait 'til it arrives!!

NICE! Any hints? Any sweet laser etching?

Cheers!! Mine is just a Cimmerian version
of the medieval woodcut graphics that feature
on the Antichrist V model. Seconds after I saw
that guitar I knew I had to have a Cimmerian version
made as I don't really bond with V's etc. There's
a very brief video of Dylan working on the graphic
on his FB page. Only 2/5ths of the back of the guitar
have been done so a good bit to go yet. I got some
more pics a few days back but can't share just at this time.

That inlay is epic!! Love how he has done the
chainmail on the skull.

Buh...! Wuh...?! How....No. No way man. Not even possible. In the video on Facebook: DO YOU GUYS SEE HOW FVCKING REAL THE SPEAR BLADE LOOKS?!?!

:minions:

I also loved Dylan's comments about not making eye candy. The marriage of wood and hardware and design are first and foremost at hand, never mind the concepts and art. That is what makes these such perfect instruments for metal. The look and style is beyond comprehension (such as this outrageous inlay, and my new fav I'll add) but the materials and design form intimate perfection for extreme metallic execution.

Inlay Dylan is working on. What appears to be "paint" is actually laser-etched and glow-in-the-dark resin "inlayed" into the fingerboard as well.

No. Just no. That inlay work is stupid good. How is anything else supposed to look cool compared to neon green zombie soldiers with umbrella-corp reminiscent inlays?

It's like an epoxy thing in CNC'd routes as far as I'm aware. The whole guitar is insane but if you want good examples of inlay it's things like that head on a pike, or his old skull series stuff where he's choosing pieces to reflect the way light would fall on the skull. Super cool stuff, but separate from the type of inlay done here.
