Is there any reason a pick guard couldn't be put on a Cimmerian with bevels?

I just had a chat with Dylan yesterday and my baby is ready for the laquerer !!
He showed me the custom neck carve he has done for me. Looked really really sick.
Cannot wait for the final product...
I'm so torn by this build, half the time I feel like I should have gone with something simpler and the other half more complex. I see these epic themed masterpieces and then these simply but classy as f$%# pieces and I'm all over the place. I think mine's going to be one of the last one's finished...wait is killing me...Seriously Dylan if you read this I've never checked my email or facebook more in my life...you're turning me into a neurotic mess!
Know that feel. Mine is very conservative so when I see all his other stuff I sorta regret not doing something similar, but I'm hoping I'll spend more time playing it than looking at it
I prefer simple, cleaner looking guitars anyways.
My favourite guitar in the current batch. If I was taking a guitar to a luthiery competition - it would be this. No inlays, no graphics. Theres no right or wrong in it. Just bare timber, balanced carves, and a technical presence. That presence is the essence of metal guitars for me. They should make other guitars look like toys.
Is that a two piece solid walnut body? that looks amazing.
