Testing the fit of the Technology 4 Musicians single string bridge. Looks like
a winner.

Headstock wings. And the contraption I am going to use for trussrod access. I
want a really small hole in the headstock so I don't need a trussrod cover. I
have had a hard time getting them right by hand so I am borrowing this jig from
the Telecaster guys.

Trussrods finally... ALLPARTS had them backordered since November so I had to
get them from WD. Ended up being a better deal as I was able to get the 20" model for my 8 strings.

New Bobbins for the pickups... black abs.

On the pickup front I am moving ahead with some more battle worn covers for 6
string pickups. One for a set of Destroyers and one for a new Destroyer Plus
model I am working on.

Any chance you'd do 7/8-string covers as a custom order? I'm getting really tired of waiting for the major manufacturers to get their acts together WRT traditional covers for ERG pickups.

Sorry, I would love to but tooling for proper Nickel Silver covers is ridiculously expensive.

I have an idea for hand made Nickel Silver covers but with my current schedule I just don't have time to make covers by hand.

Me too!

I wish the rest of the pickup world would catch up so I can order parts for ERG pickups. Building everything by hand drives my prices up...

I'm JACKED to see some more WIP pics. I started twitching when I saw your slotting for the fanned fret.

So who gets the first Fanny?

The first guy to have ever requested a multi gets it... I believe your slot is where I am in my list. Email me and we can talk.

As for this one we'll see. Having never built a Multiscale before this one could be a clunker. If this thing will hold tune and ends up being worthy of my standards it will be available... if not I will burn it, collect the trussrod from the ashes and build one that does.

Just a good tarnishing (suspended over hot vinegar so the fumes can tarnish the plain nickel in a bucket)... then they will need a coat of lacquer or 2.

Very cool! If you were ever to start making these for 7's I'd definitely be interested in buying some.
