Headstock roughed in but not final thickness yet. You can see the new trussrod slot I plan on using (unless it sucks).

Drilling the jack cup. I am trying a different location on this one. The idea is to use an angle jack and tuck it into the strap. I used to use a strap jack years ago but I have grown very fond of strap locks in recent years. We will see how this works.

This one has been sitting way too long and it was time to finish it up.
Start with the grinder and end with the scraper.

The second picture is blurry but you can see the color of the cocobolo better in it.

Is that a rosewood neck on the cocobolo topped one ?

Sapele neck with Bloodwood lams and Gabon Ebony board. Sapele body with a 3/8" Cocobolo Top.

The Sapele for the neck and body all come from the same board (I love consistency in wood).

S907_4 Almost soup.
Still need to do a dry fit on the parts and make sure everything is copacetic. On the list is make a nut, sand it out, oil, cure.
Finished up the neck joint.
