i love the birdseye fretboard, and the quilt looks really good. definately switch out the pickup selector knob. i don't really like the look of the pickups. too many pole pieces, plus they screw up your tone and tuning. but overall a kickass guitar. congrats!

I'm thinking if I decide I love it and keep it then a Duncan custom 5 and a Duncan 59 are going in (plus probably an OFR) :shred:

@kmanick: what trem is in their right now? can't be that bad right?

@Edroz: its not that noticeable, but when i took the pickups out of my guitar, i noticed that i didn't have to fix the tuning as often, which was a good thing because it's a pain in the ass to tune an electric with the built in mic. i personally thought the acoustic tone sounded better without the pickups too, but that could just be me.

It's some licensed job that begins with a "T"
it feels fine I just want to kill the play in the arm.
My luthier may have a fix I'm seeing him tomorrow I'll let you know.

Damn, that's hot. The best 7 string I ever played was a Carvin 7x7, and it looked a lot like that. Congrats.

HOLY FUCKIN SHIT MAN!!!! OOOMMMMMGGGGG. Honeslty I've never found a Carvin 7 that I personally liked as much as, or more, than mine(Sig).....but I have totally been bested. That is fuckin beautiful man, congrats and best of luck. :shred: I think I'm gonna switch out my pickups for a DiMarzio D Sonic 7 and an Air Norton 7, both Black/Cream coils. I originally ordered the guitar with Black/Cream coils but at the time they didnt make the for 7's......well no one told me that until a piece of paper that came in my case said so...
